What’s the quickest way to get your feelings across? An emoji of course.
Pepsi created thousands of unique bottles, each with different emojis, giving everyone the ability to #SayItWithPepsi. What started as a small ask—“how do we introduce Pepsimoji?”—turned into a big swing. I concepted and created over 50 pieces of short-form content, which ran as the world’s first 5-second commercials, all as snappy as the emojis themselves.
The impact was swift and propelled us into creating a 15-second commercial, recreating a classic Pepsi commercial with Pepsimojis.
Results: The campaign earned over 3.7 billion earned media impressions, and lightning struck twice as Jimmy Kimmel created a parody of our 15 second commercial.
